Personal Testimony of Rev. Cathryn Hughes

Raised in a white family in Oregon, I was surrounded by prejudice by my father for African American people, and yet my mother was kind to all cultures. I didn’t agree with my father’s feelings on these issues.

God spoke to me in many ways from the time I was 8 or 9--on. Through dreams and visions, God showed me many future events to come. God had a Divine Assignment and Preparation to do in my life for in the future God would place me as a leader to work and reach Africa in this end-time harvest days.

I had such a love for the African American people. Some of my favorite singers when I was in a teen were: Aretha Franklin, Dion Warwick, and my favorite comedian was Bill Cosby. My favorite actor was Sidney Poitier. Most of the music I loved was from the African American culture. My mother even raised me on Mahalia Jackson and other albums of the boat people during the slave days. My mother seemed to have a same love as I did in some ways.

What confused me was, that my father was so full of hate and didn’t understand that, ”God loves ‘all people’ no matter what the color of their skin.” Of course, my father couldn’t know, because he didn’t have Jesus in his heart. I used to resent his remarks and tried to ignore them. My parents were not Christians, so they could not understand the Agape love that God gives to all. ‘That we are to love all people’.

I had a natural talent for music, and would play the piano at age 4. I made up songs and would even try to sing too. My parents began to notice that I was developing quite a talent and encouraged me in those areas. Even when I was a teenager I would participate in talent contests and sing Dion Warwick, and Aretha Franklin songs. People really could Not believe how I could imitate their voices so well.

When the movie ‘ROOTS’ came out, I was shocked how the Africans were treated and the reality of slavery was introduced into my young mind. Being a teen, which loved all people, it was hard for me to fathom what my ancestors did to African people. It made me feel so bad that white people would be so cruel. I wept like a baby watching those films. Little did I realize that this cruel treatment went on for many generations!
It wasn’t until I got older that I learned about that.

When I would see special programs on television of the Ethiopians starving in Africa, it gripped my heart so much, because I never realized how much the African people had to suffer and they needed help. And it was during those same years that the media would show the struggling of the S. African people, as the white people gathered up the African people, like herds of sheep in their own country. It just didn’t make sense to me. I was appalled by such actions. It made me feel sick inside. I felt so helpless as I watched the events unfold before my young eyes and life. My love for Africa kept growing.

God had a plan for me to see all of these things, and to take notice of them for a purpose. He was preparing me for my work directly with the African people in the future. I had no idea God would appoint me to do what I am doing today. And I had to experience a lot of changes and learning for several years, to be ready and equipped for my mission that was about to unfold.

I gave my heart to Jesus when I was in primary school, and was not fed enough in Christ, because my parents were not saved, so I didn’t attend a church to be fed right. I came to know Jesus Christ in a real, and solid way in January 1971, and was baptized in the Holy Ghost the next day.

I worked several years in the ministry with the youth in bus ministry, children’s church, and with the youth in Lebanon, Oregon Assembly of God Church, and also worked as an Assistant Pastor in the Assemblies of God Church in Turner, Oregon.

God wanted me to learn to be a real soldier so after I was in ministry awhile God made a shift for me to join the US Air Force. I served six years in the military where God wanted me to be a well-trained soldier. And during my time in the military, I traveled to many countries and learned many cultures. I volunteered much time to villager children in the Philippines (where I lived for 3 years). God prepared and trained me for all the phases that I needed to be grounded in, so that I could know how to deal with--when I go to Africa.

I worked many years in administrative management. God wanted me strong in this area of operation. I also had gotten hurt on the job, which took me a year of recuperation and time with God to show me areas he wanted to teach me to grow in. I ended up going to through a medical school and graduated. So with the combination of being a soldier, with administrative management, and medical skills, God knew I was ready for my ‘Divine Assignment’.

In 1999 I purchased a Web TV (a box used to hook up to your television to make it become accessible to the Internet). It came with a keyboard with remote control features, And together, hooked to the phone line--You could use it to go on the Internet and have full-unlimited access.

My first pen pal was from E. Africa. His name is Sehewa Chilongani from Tanzania. He was the first to teach me some E. African culture and language of Swahili. I also met other African people from Sierra Leone. I became close to the Sierra Leone people during the times of war.

I met some doctors who were going to Sierra Leone and they were interested in taking me to work with them in the hospital in Freetown. They were part of a group of doctors who performed surgeries on newly amputees from war. They would try to save the limbs, and also fit prosthesis to the people when they were healed up. They donated free prosthesis to all Sierra Leone amputees. I would have been working in their hospital and also in the five amputee camps that Sierra Leone had set up for the thousands of amputee victims. God had other plans, so I was not able to go with them.

I met a couple named Rev. Adou and Oretha T. Nicol, who dedicated their lives to helping the children of Sierra Leone. They would gather lost children, who were left wandering on the streets because their parents were killed. One by one, they gathered two hundred fifty children into their home. They ended up opening an orphanage called, ’Alpha and Omega Children’s Ministries’. I made my first website for them. It thrilled them that they could have a chance to get their children adopted and helped. They made me an international coordinator for them. This was only the beginning of my great and loving work that I would be doing with Africa. I began getting them contacts, and reaching adoption agencies whom would consider working with the Pastor and Mrs. Nichol for adopting some of their children.

God taught me how to make websites. Since then, I have made hundreds of websites for Africa. Both NGOS (Non-governmental Organizations and Ministries) God opened up the door for me to reach many countries. So far: Senegal, The Gambia, Togo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Cote d’ Ivoire, Liberia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, S. Africa, Ghana, Cameroon, Uganda, Zambia, and Nigeria, Mali, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Malawi, and
S. Africa.

As time went on, I became an international coordinator for many ministries and NGOs. NGOs are organizations (who help support the needs of the people in their communities in Africa). I didn’t realize they are the backbone of the African people. They help their communities in many ways that the governments don’t.

I hope to reach every country of Africa and to be able to work together with many ministries and NGOs of all nations of the Motherland. I believe God will give me contact with them all. I claimed all of Africa as my outreach, and I believe God is bringing it to pass, ‘ THE DIVINE ASSIGNMENT’!

I met a pastor, Pastor Peter Alfred, who has a ministry in Sierra Leon. He works with the disabled, woman and children programs and the needy, in Sierra Leone. He was seeking help to find programs for the disabled people he worked with. I never dreamed what God would do next for him.

One day I was thinking about Sierra Leone, and I thought of all the amputees and disabled that Pastor Peter Alfred works with, and my mind went to Joni Eareckson Tada. A well-known author of the book ‘ Joni’. Joni is the founder of ‘Joni and Friends’.
You can see her site at: http://www.joniandfriends.org/ I decided to contact her about Pastor Peter Alfred and tell her of his work in Sierra Leone. I was so surprised and thrilled to get a response back from her by postal mail. She wanted to invite Pastor Peter to a workshop at one of her offices in Ghana. God blessed him and he was able to attend, was so blessed and uplifted with that experience. He is now able to plan other activities and outreaches to help the people he works with in Sierra Leone. Plus it gave him hope and encouragement with his work. God never ceases to amaze me how he can connect us with many people of need. I know ‘nothing is impossible with God.’

God allowed me to meet a parliament member of S. Africa and who wanted me to go and work with the AIDS programs of Orange Farm, but God did not allow me to go yet, because God wanted me to learn more of what he was leading me to at the time. I still plan to go to Orange Farm to visit that place and share the Love of God with many who are suffering with HIV/AIDS. I know God will send me when the time is right.

One of my observations of Africa is their’ valuable resources’ that Africa holds. Africa has vital resources that the world wants. Trouble is that countries do not pay Africa good prices for their resources. They purchase Diamonds, Gold, Uranium, etc. for cheap and then turn around and take these valuable resources to their own countries and sell them, for expensive prices. Thus, making a profit for themselves, but leaving Africa to suffer. It is this issue that has causes so many wars in the African countries. Unfortunately, nothing is done about it. I think it’s time that the African people stand up and start charging the higher prices, and force people to pay more so that they can prosper better. I think God will change these things. A good change is coming! And, that the people will be helped more and not just the government profiting.

In 2001, I was ordained as a non-denominational minister so that I would be able to work freely with many ministries of Africa. God wants to break down the denominational walls to free and bring them together. We have to unite as a body of Christ in order to fulfill the dream God has, of using His people in these last hours. This is why I felt God lead me to be non-denominational. I was ordained through Universal Life Church.

God put it upon my heart to open up a Ministers Prayer Group, to unite ministers, pastors and clergy together for prayer and fellowship. So, I opened up ‘Ministers For Jesus Prayer Group’. Since then, we have seen so many miracles of God, and it’s not about number, it’s about gathering together to pray, God has been blessing our union and truly will do much more. Uniting brings a bond in God! And Prayer Changes Things!

God also put it upon my heart to open up a ministry called, ‘Ministry Of Miracles’, This was the beginning of my work that God wanted me to start. I opened the site. God turned me in the direction to serve Africa. I have been thrilled since because now I am working hand-in-hand with Africa. Since then I have changed my Home site to the name Missionary For Jesus. Here at this site: http://missionaryforjesus.multiply.com in this site, it contains more of my testimonies and experiences.

I had a vision of Africa in 2001 about villagers who were spiritually bound to paganism. I saw people getting delivered and God bringing them victory. Then in January 2002, God sent me to work as a volunteer to Ghana.

One of the things I noticed in Ghana was that many children and families in Ghana only get one meal a day if they are lucky. They suffer so much from hunger. I remember when I would eat something, and would hear the cries of the children and animals and they were hungry around me. I would end up sharing my food with all of them.

I worked as a teacher through an NGO who worked with schools in the city of Accra. I worked in a primary school called, ‘Mona Lisa School’. You can see a picture of that school and students at my home site. I taught English to all grades from Kindergarten to 7th grade. I also assisted and taught in a computer class--teaching Microsoft Word. I also taught English. I also volunteered in a gynecological hospital near Haatso, Ghana as a medical assistant.

God opened up many doors for me to speak and preach in many churches in Accra and to be a guest on Peace FM Radio to pray for the sick.

One young girl in particular was one who was delivered from demons of JUJU. You can read the story on my site. This was the fulfillment of the vision God gave to me of those bound but freed. It’s only the beginning of what God is going to do for Africa.

During my volunteer time in the hospital, I worked in the laboratory drawing blood from patients and doing lab testing. Two things I noticed in the lab -- there was a high rate of Typhoid and Malaria. Typhoid was so prominent because the people drink their water from the faucet. Old pipes are the’ culprit’ when it comes to bacteria. Bacteria grow in those old pipes. I met scientists in Accra who came from many countries who were doing studies of the water and found only two germs in the waters in the villages were found in all of their studies--that were of small concern from some villages, but basically the water was very good in Ghana. So the problem in drinking from the faucet was not the water, but from the old pipes. I don’t think the people were aware of that and continued drinking faucet water instead of bottled water, and still suffering from Typhoid.

Around 2002, God was sending me African people to my email to request that I pray for them about their barrenness. They wanted to have a child but couldn’t. So, I started agreeing with them together in prayer and claiming children for them. Well, to my surprise and blessings, God granted them with children. And others were naming their children after me in both Nigeria and Kenya. I felt so honored & blessed! You can see my baby Cathryn’s at my site. I have 5 babies named after me so far.

The latter part of 2003, God gave me a vision in my kitchen in California, of Nigeria.
I saw millions of people before me. I saw many Muslims and other people going forward to give their hearts to God. God revealed to me that this was Nigeria, and that all of Nigeria was full of witchcraft, and cult pagan practices. God showed me how each family was affected by this, and there was a curse upon the lands of Africa. God wanted me to go to Nigeria to preach and tell them that he wanted to deliver them from their pagan practices and set them free and restore them from the curses that Is upon the lands. That same day God gave me a message called, ‘The Twelve Heathen Practices’ and told me to teach this in Nigeria. He showed me that he was making Nigeria the leader of Africa but that they needed to be delivered through the blood of Jesus, in order to be the leaders. He also revealed to me how the Israelites also was cursed by these pagan practices, had to repent of them, destroy their idols, put away their witchcraft, lies, and deceit, and turn to God. God wanted them to stop practicing pagan cults, because they were cursed with such things as: widowed, losing their babies, barrenness, Famines, starvation, sickness, and disease, and many other curses that come with pagan practices. And when the people of Israel were into such things, they would never win their battles. But when they turned from these wicked ways. The Israelites were restored, and delivered from these curses. They won their battles again. God showed me that Africa is bound by the same curses, and that He wants to delivered them from the curses and to restore Africa and make them the leaders of the World. That Nigeria would be the leaders of this move IF they turn from their wicked ways. First, God needs to deliver people from corruption. There is a great corruption among the churches, pastors, and Christians that need purification first. Once they are delivered and restored, God can use them in a mighty way for Him.

From my own experience of actually going to Nigeria for 8 months, I learned that many of the people I met, and some are the most wonderful people I have ever met in my entire life! And those who are strong in God are a ‘ROCK IN JESUS’. They are delivered from the curses of Satan. And I also found that people who attend churches are living in fear of the witchcraft that surrounds them, thus they are defeated in their fear to go forward in God. I had to share this with them, and many were delivered from the fear and ‘set free’. I also saw much corruption in believers who were not really living right by God. I pray that God will deliver the ones who are fakes. Much due to the governments lack of helping their people, which lives them poverty stricken so they make being Pastor as a means of income rather than ministry outreach, thus turning church into a business and causes so much corruption in the Churches. Yet, at the same time its just sin that corrupts the people. This causes them to be striving for money rather than souls. God is going to wake up the Church because money is not our God Jehovah God is. He is the cure, solution to every problem!

I went to Nigeria In 2004 and when I held my first service in Abuja, and these three men came forward with red hats on and dressed in robes with beads on their necks and arms. I had no idea they were witchdoctors of JUJU (African Black Magic) and they gave their hearts to Jesus on their knees, and God really changed their lives). He delivered them from the pit of curses.

I got the chance to share my vision all over Nigeria in many States such as: Abuja State, Niger State, Lagos State, Abia State, Rivers State, Imo State, Ebonyi State, and Ikwa Ibom State and in the deep village of Ikwa Ibom State I prayed over JUJU Children. Children are stronger in JUJU than many of the adults. It was an awesome experience to see God move as He did. Praise God! I believe God loves Nigeria so much, just as he does Africa and the world.

I observed that many women are dying giving birth to children. A couple of women I knew in Abuja, who lived in the city, died from childbirth complication and it hurt my heart so much to know that the people of Africa lack the education and medical knowledge that would help them to prevent death such as this. I even visited many doctors and government clinics. I witnessed how their laboratories where lacking in modern supplies and facilities. The villages do not have the medical clinics that they should to help the women in their pregnancies. New technologies that I am aware of in the medical field, simple ones, could save many women from death if they were educated on what to do before the baby is born. Many people do not have the money or the medical coverage to even get checked when pregnant. Africa needs so much assistance and we have to care as a people and team for them to reach that goal. Governments need to offer some type of medical insurance to the people also. I believe God will bring Africa up to where they should be. I believe God will call doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals to help aid in these areas. God will raise His people up and bring them deliverance and help in every area. I believe many medical volunteers can go there and teach villages medical doctors and help them all learn procedures that would improve the lives of the health of the people.

There is a lot of work to do, and I can’t do this alone. God is laying it on some of your lives, which are reading this testimony. And God wants to use you too, in accomplishing this. Please pray that God will open the way for you also to reach and help in what talents you have, to do your part to make a difference in the lives of the sweet African people.

I am determined to reach the lost and dying who are bound in the pagan practices, and see them come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to see them freed from these many curses. And I don’t stop there. I believe true missions will also help the village communities in connecting them with aid such as micro-loans, how to start palm oil, production, supplies to help women work and make money such as sewing machines,
also help in agriculture needs. We need to feed the body and soul. Both needs have to be met in order for the villagers to survive. And the only way they can is to find a way to start business so that they can be self-sufficient. Bring food and clothing helps too but to end the constant idleness of no jobs, we can make a difference by doing our part to help them. And we can’t do this alone. We must work as a team. God blesses those who step out in faith, and really use their talents and it’s important to show the African people that they do have talent—shows that we care, and they don’t have to suffer and die with no hope. There is a way when there seems to be no way!

I continue to carry out my work for Africa and Asia. I am reaching the lost for Jesus, connecting needy people to those who can assist them, helping refugees, orphans, working with many medical doctors, midwives and nurses.

I have sat two seats from the President of Nigeria, I met with the Chaplin of the President, Met with the Chaplin to the National Assembly, met with Governors and their wives, and shared about the medical needs for villagers with the Chief Physician to the Nigerian President. And I believe God puts His people in the presents of Kings and Queens and opens the doors before you when you are working for God and for the good of the people.

Thank you for your prayers for me. All pastors reading this are welcome to join me in prayer and our Prayer group. God Bless Africa! Our Future leaders of the world!

WINNING SOULS FOR JESUS!

Additional information I want to share:

In 2004, while in Nigeria, I was in a particular church and called all forward to pray with them. I taught them on activating their faith. That Jesus tried all the time to encourage everyone to have faith and believe. With the mustard seed, and saying to the mountain, be thou removed. He tried always to help people see that all they have to do is activate their faith. Well, after the message I called everyone up in the Church and told them I wanted to proveto them that if they activate their faith and we all believe together that the power of God will fall and they would see miracles come alive in their lives. Well we all prayed. I told them, "Now I want you to talk to God about your needs right now." I waited a few minutes to allow them to pray. Then I said, "OK everyone hold hands and agree with me that God will bless and answer each prayer prayed and requests made to God right now. And watch what God does!" I finished and went back to the hotel where I was left at.

In the morning, after I got up and prepared myself for the day, and I got this knock at the door. Some of the pastors came to my door excited to see me from the service the night before. They came to proclaim many miracles that happened. One man in particular
that they shared with me about, had a cell phone in his hand. And when when all the people made their requests known to God at the service, this man asked God to help him find his relatives who he lost contact with and hadn't heard from them in six months.
Well after we all agreed on these prayers and the minute we ended that prayer and said AMEN. His phone rang and it was his relatives calling from Brussels Belguim. Praise God! Many people reported to the pastors that they were healed, received Jobs, and God
helped them with many problems. I was so happy and knew God would prove to them His power of faith! HALLELUJAH!

Most African people that I have observed are so much afraid of JUJU (black magic of Africa) and in the villages they use this practice so much casting spells on people, using charms to curse them. Jealousy reigns in JUJU. Many use it because they have nothing to go forwards with and do not have God. So when they see a person have more than them, they curse them with a spell, or try to. So in this and such a problem in JUJU, has caused great fear in the African people. Even those sitting in pulpits, are afraid of JUJU.

In many of my services I held, I pointed out that we don't have to fear the devil or JUJU. That we should not fear man, only God. So with that I taught them scriptures about what Jesus said, Fear Not, I am with you, Perfect love casts out all fear, Etc. and I told them God is willing that none should perish and that through Jesus they don't have to fear because they have everlasting life and power and authority in the Holy Spirit.

Oh God is so wonderful! This opened their eyes. I told them, if African people put down the pagan practices, stopped fearing it, reached out to God and ask forgiveness, repenting of their sins, and ask Jesus into their life, and trust in the Word, get to know it and allow it to become real in their lives, God will heal and restore Africa and their lands. The Bible says that sin will destroy your lands. So many of them were encouraged, lifted up with hope knowing that God can help them.

I told them money and trying to get to the USA, will not save you, only God can help and transform your lives! It's not the possession of others, not the color of anyone's skin, not the outward of appearance God in interested in, but it's your heart that he wants, your love and an intimate relationship! HALLEULJAH! And currently I am counseling many pastors in Africa who are not really understanding their call in God. Many just use their ministry for a money making business. I work with them and help them to see the spiritual ways to grow in their life so that they will not get sucked into the funnel of the 'love of money' like so many ministries are falling into. To keep Gospel Number ONE to save souls and evangelize!

I saw so many transformed. Even pastors repenting of their sins! They get so used to the same old fear, the same old customs and culture, that they can't break those patterns. And when Jesus comes into their lives, they see hope in Jesus and stop focusing
on things negative, but allow God to help them focus on the Gospel and saving blood of Jesus, healing, growth in their Christian walk and transformation by His precious Holy Spirit.

It's totally awesome! I wouldn't trade my experience for anything! I love serving the Lord.
I have been told by many that I am the Esther for Africa, the Joseph, The Paul, and the Deborah, to lead an army of believers to save Africa. I am just me, God is the one who does all the work! Oh God is the leader and He is sending a big unit of Christian to win the Lost around the world. Not just in Africa but worldwide.

There is a significant direction I feel towards Africa, because when God revealed
africa to me, I see this continent with all it's countries, being restored and becoming a stronger continent than the USA some day. And I believe God is going to make Africa the leading continent of the World. May sound strange to some.
And since my prophecy 2003, I am finding I am not the only one God is revealing this to. God is turning things around in this world. Look at Obama, I already know he will be our president. I am not speaking in Political opinion when i say this. I am speaking in what God is doing to turn things around. We are going through some big changes and spiritual changes worldwide too.

I used to tell people in Africa in 2004 that God was going to use African people to save America and that the leaders will be african. And look at what He is doing!

Oh I am excited to see God's work in action! God is setting those bound free. God is going to send such a strong revival to our lands around the world that nobody has ever seen.

Arise those who are down, lift up your feeble knees, lift up your faith, believe and God will hear. Come unto me and cast your cares on me. I love you my church. I gave my life for you. There is nothing impossible. Just ask me I will do it for you!

My Personal Testimony:

Never did I ever share the following story with anyone...and I decided it was time for me to share it about how I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior.

I was a sinner in high school. Lost and looking for love. I was not raised in a Christian home. I was unable to really talk to my parents. And because of this, I searched for love in the wrong places, outside of my home.

I ended up getting pregnant. Though at the time I didn't know I was. I was in my room in my home. I started to Hemorrhage really bad. I could only tell my mother. My father was in the house but watching TV. I secretly let my mother know. We never told my father about this. She was worried about me as I layed on my bed bleeding to death.I was not sure what I was going to do. Something came out in the toilet (it was the baby but I didn't realize until later) and told my mother. Finally I got so weak that I knew I had to go to the hospital. As I tried to walk to the door, I fainted.

My father carried me and placed me in the car, not knowing what was happening to me. But he did realize I was very ill.

My mother took me to the hospital and the doctor examined me and told me I was pregnant. I was so shocked I became ill to my stomach. They immediately did surgery to stop the bleeding. They also gave me a blood transfusion since I lost 2 1/2 pints of blood. They told my mother that I would have bled to death had she not brought me to the hospital.

It was at this time of my life that I realized I needed God. I was searching for Him through going to many churches. And after all the dreams and visions I had when I was younger I knew God was somewhere, but I just didn't know how to really find him. And God used this situation to wake me up.

It was in January in 1971 that I said the sinners prayer and gave my life to Jesus.
I was filled with the Holy Spirit the next day. My life changed forever.

Now you see why I want to help women who die from childbirth complications.
I almost died. And the doctors used a technique that saved my life, and through this technique--I can help save other women from dying, and win their souls for Jesus.

God Bless you and thank you for allowing me to share about my salvation testimony with you.

ReviewReviewReviewReviewReviewGod Wants Us To Love OurselvesJun 19, '07 1:58 PM
for everyone
Category:Other
by Rev. Cathryn Hughes

How many of us really love ourselves--the way God made us? Have you ever stopped to think that we hurt God when we don't love ourselves the way
he made us? We were made the way we are for a reason.

Seems we get hung up on all kinds of things that are negative about our lives. I know I have felt that way at before in my life. From discouragement, and disappointments. And God made me see that I had to be happy with the way I am. We don't have to struggle really! We can be satisfied in ourselves when we
get our eyes on Jesus. He is the one who helps us find happiness in ourselves.
never being satisfied, or happy just being who we are.

Many people want to change everything about themselves. Be like other people
instead of looking so much at the bad in ourselves, we need to love and accept every part of us. From the wrinkles to the flab. God doesn't care how you are on the outside. He cares what you are on the inside. He made you just as you are!

So many times we forget that. We get so much on our outward appearance when in reality we should be thinking about how we can grow in ourselves on the inside with God. We don't have to worry about what the world thinks or does. For we serve God and we do not live of the ways of the world.

It's time we care more what God thinks. It helps us get a better perspective on how life really is. When we have a giving heart and giving attitude, and think of those worse off than ourselves and keep our hands busy for the Lord. We stop worrying about not being happy in ourselves. We become happy when we love our life in the Lord.

So many people of the Church today are the most unhappy people. Because many are so miserably out of the will of God. From: insecure, into only
themselves, do not care about winning souls, and do not have direction. Many do not even love themselves. They only focus on their insecurities, flaws and their problems. Many are depressed, oppressed. God wants to use these people! their is a way out. It's through Jesus Christ. Let him put love and like for your life inside your heart. He is able to heal any hurts you have.

Humans who allow problems stand in the way of their thinking and cloud their mind, and just stay in that way of living, let me ask...How could they see with all this junk in the way?

I have learned myself that when I come up against a struggle, I can't get anywhere until I give it all to Christ, this is what makes me stay a happy Christian. Yes we all face challenges but we can choose how we are going to handle them. And the best way is to keep the mind of Christ. I take my problems to God in prayer. Prayer changes things and God is only allowing these things to keep us strong and learn in Him.

God wants us to see clearly is to love ourselves. When we really love God, we can really love ourselves too. Perfect love casts out all fear. And when we are very strong in God's love, we can also allow love reign in our hearts. If you can't love yourself, how can you love others? We are not supposed to be hung up in our problems--instead to rely on God to help us. That way we don't have to carry the load and try to handle it all ourselves. That is where we mess up as humans.
Not allowing God to help us. When we try to handle everything ourselves--then we fall. But when we have the Savior in our heart and life, The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us and keep the trash out of our minds. When we allow God to replace negative ways and thoughts with Good ones--the promises of His Word will bring us through with blessing. The Word says to thinking on things that are good, and positive. He keeps us in peace in our minds.

Philippians 4:8 tells it like this.....

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Our happiness in God comes from inside ourselves. If we are not happy inside ourselves, it affects how we are with our families, our work and everyone around us.
Are we happy with ourselves alone? And trusting God? Have we forgiven those who hurt us? Are we praying for them and pushing forward for God?

Have you ever had to spend a long period of time alone? How did you handle it? Did you find a way to cope, or did you get unhappy, and depressed? Well, when you have God in your life, you can be happy when you are alone, or with people. I have found in my own life, that I can stand strong alone in God. God never leaves nor forsakes me! I have had to do that many times. I found the contentment in God! We can face anything with God! We are over comers!

You don't need humans to keep you happy. You need God! He is our happiness in our hearts. It's God who fills the void! I am not saying you can't have friends, I am
meaning we don't have to depend on others to keep our hearts happy. Because God gives inner peace, love and happiness. Leaning on God brings us through everything!

I talk to many men and women on the net who are seeking a spouse. They actually think if they find a spouse, that this is the answer to their unhappiness or emptiness inside of them. They also say things like, I want to go to the UK or USA and they think these moves will solve all their problems of their hearts. My friends,I tell you God is the answer! If we are sure about our relationship with God we won't need to go out seeking for answers elsewhere would we? God will bring His Will into our life without having to do that. It will just happen in God's timing.

Loneliness is a choice. Just as love is a choice too.If a person were to choose to dwell on loneliness, They could actually cause their own self to be sick in their mind or be depressed. If they allow love to rule their heart and choose love as the guide, they would love themselves and others and be happier.

There is another option to choose. To look at life in a positive way, look at what we face, as a stepping stone to get us where we want to go, & keeping busy. It all depends on how a person looks at things, and the choices they make. It also depends on how they handle life too. You can change whatever you face, by Praying about them, and also setting goals, or find hobbies, and by using the talents God blessed you with--God will bless everything we do, if we at least try
to do something! God doesn't want us sitting around being idle and pouting. And things would fall into place for You are in charge of your happiness. It's your choice. Nobody can make you happy but you. Learn to love yourself as God made you. And you will be blessed.

Exciting To Experience God's Miracles!
Is God within you? Do you believe Him with all your heart and soul? Do you pray about everything in your life? Have you experienced miracles by doing so?
I have. I have been touched and blessed by the Father in Heaven.

Miracles are not out of date as some state. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. God never changes, though man does.

Miracles happened way back in the beginning of time, throughout the Old Testament to those who allowed God to use them. And today, God still performs them and gives favor to His children, to whom believe in Jesus.

Nobody, not one person can tell me that God does not do miracles now. For I have seen miracles all my life.

I have been raised up after many multiple surgeries, Seen people on death beds raised, seen whole churches come to know the power of the Holy Spirit, seen witchdoctors in africa run to the altar and give their lives to Christ. I have seen God move when I have prayed with people in agreement. God's Power Never Fades! AMEN God is always true to His people.

Nothing in this world has satisfied my life like God. His miracles go before me daily. I have seen God rescue refugees in need, orphans get the foods they need, I have seen God heal the barren and bring them babies. I have seen with my own eyes miracles of being hit by a car and a motorcycle in Africa and not being hurt, because God brought a miracle of protection for me.

It's very exciting to experience God's miracles!!

Oh that we might see how God is so good to us.
That we might give Him more praise and thanks for every little thing in our lives. With a thankful heart many miracles come. With Faith and love God will bless. AMEN
I have seen God's protective hands on me in the midst of powerful witchcraft. I have been in places where God was not the center. But as I walked through that place, I felt God surrounding me with His Spirit and Love. I was totally covered and protected by the Blood of Jesus.

Yes, the world calls us fanatics, But hey, I don't mind because I know what my Father does for me. And he can do the same for all of you! God does not love anyone less. We are all ONE. Nobody better.

Did you know that God loves the Muslims, Hindus, people of all faiths, and even sinners? Yes, when Jesus came and died and rose, he did this for us all.

The greatest miracle we can have is Salvation through Jesus Christ. And Jesus will be your closed and dearest friend if you let Him. He will bring you through the hardest times, ON TOP!

God's miracles never cease to amaze me.
I just found out the other day that a man in Africa was about to kill himself just before he met me. I had no idea that talking to him had changed his mind and he dedicated his life to Jesus. PRAISE GOD! Folks, you never know the impact you have on people's lives when you serve God.

This world roars at football, basketball and other sports, and their interest is so intense in the things they love. Just like us, we get excited about Jesus and all He does in our lives. When we can allow God to ignite us in Jesus, then we can see why we get excited. He takes us to depths that we never dreamed of.

When you are really 'in-tuned' with God, the world means nothing, no temptation is even wanted. You only desire God, His love, and to love all people. You want to live every moment in God's presence. I don't know about you but I can't get enough of it. I want more and more.

My life is fulfilled... I couldn't say this before but now I can. I am content no matter if I am living out of a suitcase, in the jungle, or village, or with family. I am content with Jesus in my heart.

I don't have to worry or fret for my God has never failed me yet. AMEN

I wake up each morning looking for miracles. I see them too. I believe that if you have faith, you can do anything! God promises us that.

My cup runneth over with Joy in the Holy Ghost. And I know I will be taught by Him.

The only one I fear is God.I can face all things knowing God is with me.

If you need a miracle today, start to believe, claim it with a friend. Let your faith soar in Jesus, then you will see your Spirit come alive in God. You will grow to know the Savior in a deeper way. Give it a try. Just try to believe and stop the doubting. Know that you know that you know, God is with you and Jesus will never fail you. Know that miracles are available to you but it takes one step--For you to believe.

Be the best You--You can be for Jesus. Love from the heart, believe from the heart. Expect miracles, don't beg for them. Believe for them. AMEN

God will bless your hearts through and through.

A walking miracle for Jesus!

An Outreach of the Heart:
Missionary Rev. Cathryn Hughes

Because I lived in both Asia and Africa, I know what it is like to see the people struggling to grow and prosper. Many need Jesus Christ. Many into paganism and many lost. The people of Asia and Africa need Jesus and humanitarian assistance. Also they need help Learning ways to be self-sufficient and better their lands. And to do this it takes a team effort.

God put these two continents of Africa and Asia in my heart. My ministry of missionary work started in 2001. God placed a big burden on me to assist in the best of my ability for these countries: To connect people together, so that missions can be accomplished, and so the many ministries, missionaries and NGOs (non-profit organizations) can find support and receive assistance. These two continents need more help.

Some General Information:

Ministries and NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) are the backbone
of both Africa and Asia. Their communities need both of them to help support the villagers and poor. Both play important roles in the welfare of the African and Asian people, and it's vital to help in humanitarian, and environmental issues, as well as, spiritual outreaches. By having NGOs and Ministries, it brings a positive impact to help the people prosper spiritually, as well as physically in God. NGOs and Ministries help the communities to be self-sufficient, improving life for the poor and needy, helping the disabled, teach children, help displaced people, and help orphans, refugees, and support missions.

It's vital that registered Ministries and NGOs receive support and help. There are many grants available to those who are registered with their countries.

You can support a Ministries or NGO. Make sure they show you their registration with their country first and have references who have visited them before you support them, or even go and see for yourself what they are doing. Please write them to let them know that you are praying for them, and that you would like to support them. They would appreciate your help so much.

Many ministries are networked together with me by my ministers prayer
group that I founded-in 2001. We pray together and try to help connect each
other to supporting organizations. God has worked great miracles in the body
of Christ connecting this way.

I also created a very helpful 'Resource Connection Page' available where
Africans and Asians Ministries and NGOs can locate many organizations
that they can receive help from. It's located in the blog section of:
